| This is... my favorite RCHP song. I think it's really straight forward myself. It's about a bar.. plain and simple. Not all songs have hidden meanings. | |

| I am pretty confident that this song is talking about Noahs Ark and that time era. I think it's kind of poking fun at maybe what the animals were doing that whole time on the ark. Look at some of the lyrics: "Ah ah ah the cry of isolation Ah ah ah the higher meditation Ah ah ah the sweet precipitation Ah ah ah the higher depravation " ...isolation, meditation, precipitation, and depravation.....all words that the ark relates too. again... "All aboard the ship cause Your going to need ARC when The WET comes down youll be swimming like a shark" "Raindrops will fall from the sky Stealing the shape from your eye Now we can all get some sleep the water the water the water saving us from the heat Somethings will die in there place Others will leave with a trace Fire will come by its day the water the water the water Washing it all away " ...saving you from the HEAT (hell)...washing washing it all away...like the flood did... i dunno it makes sense to me. -PDPAB | |

| I like the Bible theory and the Australian bar theory, but I'm not sure what to do with the Norman Mailer line, then. | |

| I personally love this song... And in my oppinion, its seems to be about religion, mainly about Noah's Ark and the story of that. The first stanza seems like when Noah was first told to build the ark and how Noah was old and everyone just thougth he was crazy. The second stanza seems like Noah and the animals on the ark wishing it would stop rianing and that the water would go down. The chorus seems to be about how frustrating and hard it was for Noah and the animals being stuck on the ark for so long. The foruth stanza is pretty self explaintory...unless you're a fish or a swimming animal, you'll need to be on the arc or you'll drown. Also about Noah's labour of buliding that arc and how it'll be worth it in the end. The sixth stanza is about how depressing the long rain was and how it washed and killed all the evil and bad from the earth and how only the good remain on the arc. That's my interpretation of it. I might be wrong or right. But yah. I was always interested in the story of Noah's arc and when i first heard this song I made an immeadiate connection. | |

| God, no offense rhcp baby in any way, but I hate computer lingo. I do use "lol" sometimes, but computer lingo is a bit childish and too hard to understand at times. One of the best songs off the new album. Uses cool Pink Floyd-like effects and has a weird sound to it. I love it. I have no clue what most of the lyrics are about on the album (call me stupid if you wish). lol. Hey, I just used computer lingo. This and "Desecration Smile" are the two best songs on the Mars CD. | |

| Man I really love this song and yes the animal bar is a part of australia where it never rains. I think it's about being isolated and afraid of change. | |
