	The Song is about the producer for the album CHEER UP. His name was VAL. They wrote the song as if it was about a girl to mask their hate for VAL. don't tell me i'm wrong either its on the RBF DVD with the commentary. This guy was suposedly crazy and even like handed Aaron a loaded gun one time while they were driving around.

	When i saw this band live in 2003, they played this tune and replaced "Valerie" with "Starting Line" (the band who opened). Nothing beats a band and a 100 people all screaming "STARTING LINE... YOUMAKEMEWISHIWASDEAAAAAD!"

	What's truly harsh about this song is that he actually gives a name. Most bands, no matter how angry they are, don't use names. Poor Aaron. If I was Valerie, I think I'd have to kill myself.

	This song is amazing. This is my official song for if I hate someone. Just pretend that instead of saying "Valerie" they are saying "by the way" which is kinda what it sounds like to me. It perfectly explains how i hate this guy that just moved here. I got him into our friend group. And now I hate his guts. Love this song!
