| I think this song is absolutely wonderful, and means a lot. It is not one of those metaphors that is impossible to figure out, but very straightforward and meaningful. | |

| its not just about how people change goin off 2 college, its about how they change throughout their lives and are often influenced by peer precure. They start 2 drink or become kinda slutty...etc. and how it saddens them 2 see how easily their friends were changed and how they didnt stand up for their beliefes. | |

| Cowboytiger, I think that you are also partially wrong. While I do think that this song is about how people can be distracted and turn away from God, it happens (generally) BECAUSE of peer pressure! If you surround yourself with the worng people, you can become just like them! | |

| I love all of Relient K's songs... but I really like this one, because it's telling the listeners how much you can be affected by this world. In the song, Justin (a professing Christian) drinks beer every weekend. Vanessa's life is messed up. And it's all because of the temptations that Satan has put in our paths. We must choose to kick his boulders, that he places in our way, out of our way. And we must keep our focus... our goals... on Jesus Christ. | |

| Notice that nowhere in this song does it refer to God or Christianity. It all depends on how you want to interpret the lyrics, but in general it's obvious what the main idea is and that's what's meaningful | |
