| i had to leave a christian guy once bc i let our relationship go into physical sin. i was in the bath and the lyrics hit me: When I go down It hurts to hit the bottom And of the things that got me there I think, if only I had fought them i was sooo angry with myself and so guilty. a lost a huge part of myself to him. but its so tru, who else can i blame for my own sin. the things u wud change if u cud turn back time. | |

| This song is all about sin and regrets and how you can just let god (and yourself) down in an instant. but you can be forgiven just as quick. because god loves you so much and he wants the best for you. this song makes me all warm and fuzzy in side. i luv it. | |

| I had this album for a really long time but never commented on it. I love this song. It really helps me deal. I think it's about being sad, missing opportunities, hurting friends, not really appreciating things when they're given to you, ignoring your problems. Basically being so wrapped up in yourself that you let everything that matters slip through your hands. When you are at your absolute lowest, you have to just look to God and ask for help and the strength to turn your life around, take responsibility and follow through. It's a beautiful song. | |

| There's a word I'm trying to think of...I think it's "wow." This song just goes to prove how far Relient K and Matt Theissen's lyrics have gone in the last few years. Totally amazing. As far as the meaning goes, though, I think that this is a song about rising from the ashes of an emotionally burned out life. They've been living their life according to their own selfish desires and thing seem to be going smoothly, but soon they find that that life's taking them nowhere but down. Really down. Really quickly. So quickly, that before they even know it, they've hit rock bottom. It hurts, but the most painful thing is that they realize that they could have avoided all this if they had just followed God. They just want all this to be over, but "that's not the way it works." No, they've got to admit that they're wrong, and more importantly, to repent and submit to the will of God. And that's the beautiful part. Because even though they've gone and messed things up completely, and have hit the rock bottom, all they have to do is look up and there's Jesus, right next to them, "with open arms, to lift them up again." Just my two cents. | |

| This is on a playlist I made of the most powerful songs. It's like a song that you can listen to at night before you go to sleep and it lets you reflect on everything. Anyways, this song is so beautiful. Relient K have really come a long way in only about 5 years. Can't wait for the new album. | |

| Relient K -- er, Matt Thiessen -- really knows his stuff. The music (instrumentals, whatever you call them) is beautiful. | |
