| relient-k rocks. this song is awesome. i know exactly, well maybe not exactly, but i know sorta what they r talking about. if we dont' give our entire lives to god, then we are not going to understand everything that god is wanting for us. so therefore, we will have a failure to excommunicate with god. that is exactly why we need to give our entire lives to god and love him and live for him and not some other so called god just to have friends and live outinthe world. that really sux to have friends just because of what u do. god always accepts you and so live your life with god and you will never have a failure to excommunicate with the creator. yeah. relient-k is awesome and they rock! | |

| This song rocks!!! At one of the concerts here in Ohio Matt told us a story about how when he was in high school he was on a farm and he found this chain and thought it was cool. So he put it around his neck and kept on all summer and when he went back to school his principle told him to take it off, so he went to the bathroom and took it off and had a gross tanline so he put it back on and got suspended. So apperently this song is a lot about high school and him and stuff. I think it's awesome, cause it's so true. | |

| The "trusting him with authority" is talking about the principal within the context of the song... This song is talking about the tendency for Christians to judge others who don't fit their mold of a good Christian and want to "excommunicate" them from the church, but the song reminds us that it's exactly those people, the sinners and outcasts, that Jesus spent His time with, and so should we. As long as there's a heaven and Jesus loves all who believe in Him, there will be a failure for us to successfully excommunicate those from His love who we dare to deem unworthy. | |
