Song: Don't Mess With Texas
Artist: Remember Maine
Album: The Last Place You Look
Tabbed by: Ben Ellinor "staticprevails750@yahoo.com"

The best way to play this is to keep your ring finger on the 7th fret
sustain the entire song, use the index for the 5th fret and 4th fret notes,
and use the pinky to stretch to the 9th fret on the low D string. Pay close attention to
which strings need to ring and which need to me muted. Email me
with any questions.

Part 1:
E|----x----------x----------x----------x-----x|
B|----x----------x----------x----------x-----x|
G|----7----------7----------7----------7-----7| Play 4 times
D|----x----------0----------0----------0-----0|
A|----5----------x----------x----------x-----x|
D|----0----------5----------9----------4-----5|
"So yea..."

Part 2:
E|----x----------x----------x----------x------|
B|----x----------x----------x----------x------|
G|----7----------7----------7----------7------| Play 2 times
D|----0----------0----------x----------0------|
A|----x----------x----------5----------x------|
D|----9----------5----------0----------7------|
"Shouldn't he just make the move..."

Part 3: Play the same chords as Part 2, but only strum 4 times and stop, then some palm muting,
too. Repeat 4 times.
"Come on kid..."

Then play Part 1 chords:
"So yea, the girl bites her lip..."

Then play Part 2 chords:
"And I know, it doesnt happen all to often..."

End on:
E|----x--|
B|----x--|
G|----7--| "So yea..."
D|----x--|
A|----5--|
D|----0--|

guitar pattern kinda sounds like again i go unnoticed, which is funny because this guys going to be living in the shadow of dashboard through his entire career. good song though. eastbound traffic is still better in my opinion.
