I think this has something to do with following your destiny. Like maybe "And hope you go up to heaven right now" means "I hope you get the good life straight off" or something. I dunno. I'm trying to make sense of the song, but.... Well, it isn't really working out too well.

yeah. In Revalations John is discribing god he said: and he had in his right hand seven stars. I love this song but it took me a while to figure it out. to me it is simply about ones curiosity about the end of the world. and about wanting to be saved but not knowing if you are good enough. "can I be changed?or am I the same?"

"stars on his right, holding seven right now" that is the key phrase to the song, WHAT THE HECK DOES THAT MEAN!!!! :)
