| i think this song is about someone who has finally awaken to the harsh reality of this world, and hence the title "heaven knows" b/c heaven is up in the sky and can look down on all the chaos and trouble in our world. he's also trying to help someone through difficult times "you're still searching for these answers, theyre not inside your wrist" (or, he could be talking to himself). Either way this song and especially the end part is awesome. | |

| Good summary, Ionian, I never looked at it that way... And skatebob, too, makes sense. I was just wondering about the video. What is the video for Heaven Knows about? It tells of a money exchange gone wrong. It’s never really conveyed what the exact circumstances are, but it is a deal gone bad. Tim then tries to cover up the situation and runs into the city, disappearing. The original edit of the video made a bit more sense, but was modified so it could be aired on commercial television. Story of their career, the edited videos part. Maybe I'll look for an unedited on You Tube. I don't understand the "money exchange" or really anything about the video... | |
