| Single of the year. One of the few songs that can be catchy and still have meaning. | |

| I think it's about if you're gonna speak out against the government, you should give it all. | |

| this song is definnitely political since they r political but i believe this song is about the troops in any where across waters that r figthing those pointless wars and r dying for no reason but still there gonna give it there all so they can come home tonite Rock bottoms where we live And still we dig these trenches Bury ourselves in them Backs breaking on the tension For far too long these voices Muffled by distances Its time to come to our senses And from the dark we GIVE IT ALL that part makes the most sense of it and the part about muffled voices from distances i believe that means that Bush is telling them wut to do but hes across the world not experiencing the madness there going through but thats just my opinion | |

| I dont think this song is about any war, however I didn't write it. I think its mainly about getting used to American Culture and just playing along with the scheme of things. But to do what you really want or should do would involove sacrafice that has become just so easy to avoid. I personally, and sick of listening to people who dont know what the hell they are talking about: Muahaha4, "figthing those pointless wars and r dying for no reason". If you are educating youself with what is going on you would realize there is defintly a point to the war. You might not agree that war was the correct course of action but there are millions of problems in the middle east, and some of them are now being solved by the people with the resources to do it. | |

| man..somebody screwed up those lyrics pretty bad. here's what they should be: break through the undertow your hands i cant seem to find pollution burns my tongue cough words i cant speak so i stop my struggling and i float to the surface fill my lungs with air then let it out i give it all now theres a reason why i sing i give it all and its these reasons that belong to me rock bottoms where we live and still we dig these trenches to bury ourselves in them backs breaking under tension for far too long these voices muffled by distances its time to come to our senses up from the dirtwe give it all breathe the ari we give the life we live our pulses racing distances so wet my tongue break into song through seas of competetion so please believe your eyes a sacrifice is not what we had in our minds im coming home tonight home tonight we give it all this is the reason why i sing so give it all and its this reason that belongs to me today i offer up myself to this im living for my dying wish i give it all now theres a reason theres a reason to give it all sorry...i just had to clear all that up..great song | |

| I mostly agree with what Angels said, except that I dont think it's about them expressing their views in graffiti. I think that's kind of symbolic for the fact that ordinary people should just do something instead of whine and moan when they don't agree with something. | |

| I agree with Angels, the music video refects this song very well... But one thing that bothered me about Angels comment was that when they spray painted the billboard, it was "45 grams of heart attack" not "calories", but at any difference its speaking out against media and how fake it all is. | |

| i like this song. i do not think this is about politics or bush, i think it is about americas society today. if you see the music video it makes it prety clear, and the lyrics are prety clear too. america is all about making alot of money these days, thats why the people put that sticker on the door at the end of the video. if spent my entire life traped in a cave. this guy spends his life in a cubical or office. we also have alot of polution and crappy food like mcdonalds. this is what our world has come to and i think that is what he is singing about. | |
