| if i had to guess... the time that we kill (aka the things that we do while we're alive "killing time") is what keeps us alive. in other words, life wouldn't be worth living if we didn't do anything while we were here. | |

| It's about reflecting on what you want to get out of life and the lagacy that you leave behind when you die. To live without reget and hope that you have inspired people and appriciated life to the fullest. | |

| I agree with rave2550 about: Shots fired into the sky are now returning, where the fuck will you hide? being about karma. Think about it. The things we do come back to affect us in the end. In this case the "shots," our actions, we've fired "into the sky" come back down, and we can't avoid them. So calm down chocolate, rave has a valid point. | |

| First off, this is one of the best songs from one of the greatest bands. It's obviously about being heartbroken. All that hurt that you carry every day, and meeting someone that has been through the same thing. Living every day hurting is much more frightening than death itself. And now someone is there, do you trust them, do you step out of that black hole you've been in for years, do you try to trust and love again? So let's take it one day at a time, live life and not worry about the rest, that will keep you alive, instead of the walking dead that we were living being miserable. What an incredible song. On a seperate note, I've seen them twice, they fucking rock. | |

| I think this song is about looking back on your past accomplishment and being disapointed in your self. Oh and on the line "The time that we Kill keeps us alive." I think it means that if we take life to seriously we will end up like another one of them. as them i mean: Normal might as well be dead, desk dwellers that never take life for its fullest. Keep rockin punks! i just think it means that if | |
