Typical Rob Zombie ;) The lyrics to the song "Foxy Foxy" include a reference to Lon Chaney, Sr.'s "He Who Gets Slapped" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rob_Zombie

To me, this song kindof depicts a lot of women out there. We'll look at a boy, look away. Size him up, you know? And as you well know, foxy means someone who is very sly, coy, seductive... So with this in mind, she sounds like she has the upper hand, so this guy ("mongrel") is like, "what's it gonna be? are we gonna do it or not?" And I'm not sure, but looking at thisss: He lives for relics, hang on the wall. it sounds like.. he's just looking for another notch in the bedpost. Like, "yesss. i slept with herrr." lol. That's what it seems like to me.

This song makes me think of Gulliver's Travels because I think Gulliver's third stop is a place with talking, educated horses. I'm pretty sure this song isn't about that though. It has to be about something though.

i agree that the song is about sex (duh) but rob did decide to put foxy foxy in there so that people would use the term again but of course foxy pretty much just means sexy so yea its definitely about sex.

At the beginning of the song the girl says, "Can't you work it harder?" Obviously this song is about women degrading men. Yes it is about sex but not of men having sex with women, but wheather or not the woman is going to give it up.

Not only did i think of Gulliver's Travels, I thought of the Herald of Valdimar. Also I think Rob was being vague and avoiding some of his motives. He = possessor. She = possessed. How could this not be about sex? Yet i challenge the lister/reader to broaden the term sex to the act of creation. I think asking the listener if they want to ride educated horses is a call for social change broader than simply using new words. Corrective thinking leads to corrective action.

ahem: "It was a weird kind of phrase, like, that I remembered as something as a kid. You know, my parents, my grandparents, my aunts and uncles, the whole family, were involved in carnival business and, like, circus business, so as a kid, we would get dragged to these things, and we'd have to spend all this time there. And that was just one of the attractions I remember, what they would call the trained animals, you know, educated horses." -Rob Zombie

you know, i was on wikipedia the other day, and i was just looking through the part where they describe his movie career. And somewhere in there, they say that he was gonna do a movie with Pam Grier, who, any movie buff knows played Foxy Brown. And i was reminded of that. So i don't know if the songs about that or sex with women or what, but that's just what came up in my mind.

While the educated horses is right about the title of the cd it isn't about the song.Rob was on a radio station here a few nights ago he gave us the reasons behind the songs. He said he keeps hearing how kids today talk and thought about what happened to all the good words like foxy...so he wrote foxy foxy to bring it back....*p.s. he said while foxy is a good word you should say it twice (foxy foxy) and give him credit :)*

That might be what the song means to Rob, but it will mean something different to different people. Thats the great thing about music. You put it out there and hope people relate. Thats also the great thing about this site, everybody can post what the song means to them.
