Subject: TAB: Sister Morphine (Rolling Stones)
Anyone who attempts this one, I would really appreciate your feedback
because I'm tabbing it quickly and I may well have made some mistakes.
I CRDed the whole song because the chords change from verse to verse.
There are of course other little twiddly bits than the 2 fills I've
tabbed, but I'm sure you'll get the picture...
I'm not even going to attempt to tab Ry Cooder's slide guitar for
this- are there any tab conventions for slide?

| Maybe the guy is on his hospital bed because of heroin overdose. And he is having withdrawl symptoms(...Morphine,When are you coming round again?). He want all the pain he is in to go away by taking some morphene/heroin(Please, Sister Morphine, turn my nightmares into dreams. ) And he wants to do heroin/morphene one last time before he dies(And that this shot will be my last.) | |

| Marianne Faithful had something to do with the writing of this song though she was of course not credited. This is the only song from Sticky Fingers that I don't like. | |

| kfe2, morphine is one of the cheapest drugs out there and hospitals aren't afraid of wasting it... aside from that i like your interpretation. to add to it, I think it's about a heroin addict that gets into an accident and switches his addiction to morphine (they have very similar chemical structure and could be plausible) and the morphine takes him to a calm death. | |

| Well i have never done heroin, but a song like this makes you almost want to be adicted to the stuff. This song is hauntingly awesome. (also the Sticky fingers album is one of the best albums of all time, i n my humble opinion) | |
