Artist: Rolling Stones
song: Time is on my Side (intro)

Eversince I started playing guitar and saw the movie 'fallen' I wanted to play
the intro of 'Time is on my side' from the Rolling stones. It wasn't on the
internet so here's a effort of my own. I think it sounds quit accurate, but if
you think you've got something better, please let me know: dikke_zooi@hotmail.com
note, this is only the intro.

This song is similar to Bread - It Don't Matter to Me (lyrically). Except Bread's song is depressing because he's letting her go and unsure if she is coming back, but he is willing to wait, so "time is on my side." Unlike Rolling Stones since the Stones's version has her coming back.

I think that the man may be overconfident. The woman he loves could decide not to come back to him. The man thinks that given enough time, the woman will return to him as she has done many times before.

I see this as meaning that she is just into partying and enjoying life to the fullest without regard to anyone else (including the mans point of view this song is coming from). But he understands her and knows why she does this so he always accepts her back because he loves her.
