	I agree with tshgoff, this is a concept common in Rollins writing. I think of like a boxer starving themself to shed away fat, and be left lean and musclular. Now, apply that to society, we are fed a diet of fast food, cable news shows, and advertisments. We have to starve ourselves of outside influences to be strong minded and true to ourselves. It's like Hank says "Part Animal, Part Machine"
