i know no one will believe me, but o well. my sister is friends with the girl this song is about. her name is justine, and its called daisy duke because the first day he met her she was wearing a hat with a daisy on it. she has a car that she painted to look like a taxi. and yes she is too young for them. i dont know anything else though. and you probably dont believe me in the slightest, but its true i swear. so yeah...:)

i agree to all of the above. but i was talking to this guy in this band that writes his own lyrics and he told me that he uses things in his lyrics that only him and the person would now about. maybe alot of it had to do with real life situations he had with some younger girl. sort of reminds me of a situation i was in with this older guy. but we didnt do anything sexual. lololol. i love rooney. this is a great song! =]]

is it just me or does this song sounds like a "having sex with a groupie" situation? "You're too young for me But I can keep a secret I'm in total control Of the situation" ^^^^especially...

how awesome is this song eh? i love it but he does sound pretty stuck up in this song cos he is bassically saying if you fuck up im gonna throw you out its kinda like I'm a terrible person cos he he does all this bitchy stuff to this one girl and then in the end he says it doent matter cos she was basically worthless

I read the lyrics to this song before I heard it and thought "Well, that's one Rooney song I won't like." He just sounds unbelievably conceited and I know it's only a song, but it bugged me. THEN I ACTUALLY HEARD THE SONG. Let's just say the flow, the tone, the mood of the song works perfectly. I've listened to this song countless times since I first got the CD. Also, I sent this song to around 10 people with various music variety. (Metal, Rap, R/B, Alternative, etc) and EVERY SINGLE ONE of them fell in love with it. For some reason, I think this would be the perfect song to listen to after a breakup. Seems like it'd boost self confidence and take out frustration in a non-destructive way. (Aslong as you don't start feeling superior and getting the urge to cuff people to bathtubs. =D)

I always wondered...does it refer to the shirt shorts or does it mean that...er...you know...he gives it up the butt? erg, i hope not. however, i do like the intro. my friend's ex-bf was my fake "stalkee" and one day I sent him the first half of the song (obviously not the bow down daisy duke part) and we had a laugh.

Agh! you need to get your facts straight!! Robert Carmine wrote this from an experience he had. He did cuff a girl to his bathtub! I really doubt he raped her because come ON! Robert is so NOT in the position to be raping people. HE was probably just going out with a younger girl, and the girl acted in a way to provoke him to write a song about her. and you all call yourselves rooney fans!!!! :P

Second best Rooney song ever (First is Popstars). I think this song is about a rape. "Don't you say no to me, baby, big mistake." It's about a guy raping a young girl, not nessecarily Robert Carmine/Schwartzman/Coppola (lol), but it's like a warning type of thing. Don't go out with older men you don't know anything about and don't don't dress like you're inviting sex. (Daisy Dukes)

I took "bow down" to be more of an "OBEY ME" thing than a blow job thing--which I get sort of from the whole thing. It's a younger girl in a relationship who's getting kind of jerked around by a man who likes to be in charge, and it's clearly not something she was expecting. I have no idea why they chose to reference Dukes of Hazzard.
