Sounds like a track about the emotional contact between two people "in sync" with each other. It's an amazingly strong connection, but almost impossible to understand.

One of the rare tracks where all 3 members of the band get the "lyrics by" credit. I think it's a celebration of how tight the band are, especially when "Signals" was a breakout album - a change of direction for Rush.
