| I've been thinking how this person is so highly regarded in his view, that he's blinded ("your light is the light of ten sunsets", kinda bright) when they look at this person (I think of a girl). They don't want to be with this person because they don't want to tarnish that view of them. Kind of out there... | |

| actually i think it's a metaphor for being in a state of happiness and leaving sadness/depression behind. "cuz your light is the light of ten sunset circles" = darkness in life. | |

| So here's to the passing of all that could be between you and me *Thats also my favorite line....to me this song means that well he'd rather be somewhere else...well actually anywhere else rather than with this certain person...who knows...maybe he wants to get away from some freako fan...it kinda makes yu wonder...i wish i could just ask Chris what it meant...but thats just what i think.. | |

| This and "Hold" are my favorite Saves The Day songs. I can relate to this, because I was (am) really infatuated with this guy. He has the most beautiful blue eyes and he's just... amazing. But when I'm near him, I get so nervous, I freeze up and start shaking and yeah, it's intense. Favorite line: "'cause your light is the light of ten sunsets Circled by eyes burned blue and opened wide " | |

| I think maybe I'll just throw this out there and maybe it's not what everyone is saying. Maybe it's not a love song but rather a song saying...I don't want to be near you. Not because he's nervous or he's scared or he loves her too much...but because she brings out the worst in him. She's too full of herself and too much for him. He doesn't even want to bother with her anymore. Because she won't let him have a chance. "so here's to the passing of all that could be between you and me"...maybe I'm wrong. | |

| (taken from a saves the day biography) “Anywhere With You”: The music originally came from a lullaby I wrote for a friend’s newborn baby. I sped it up and it turned into this song. It’s about trying to feel complete within yourself. | |

| really?? that sounds a little harsh, considering he was singing to a newborn. . . yeah. to me,, i'd say he embarrassed himself really bad in front of this girl he thinks is really pretty and now he doesn't want to be around her. because..he's...embarrassed... .. i'm done. | |

| I agree with echakan...This song describes one of my relationships with an ex boyfriend. "I know i can't come near you Every time i do I get shaken inside and the sun in my eyes I'll stay away" I'm fine with life until I see him, then I get all of these feeling back and I can't help but start liking him again. "So here's to the passing of all that could be between you and me" It's one of those doomed relationships though, so I know it would never work out and have to forget about him all over again. | |

| This song, to me, is about liking someone, but knowing you can't be with them, and not really wanting to be with them, and hating how there's a part of you that still loves them. | |

| yeah, favorite line for me aswell.. 'i'd be dancing with your ghost, toasting note to note.. so here's to the passing of all that could be between you and me' I really love any line that talks about dancing. It can be such a romantic thing. Dancing with your ghost...meaning dancing with the essence of you. and toasting the passing between us. ' i know i cannot see you, even if i wanted to' ..i think this song is about Him loving a girl, who doesn't feel the same anymore.their relationship ended and he still wants to be..'anywhere with her' | |
