	I don't know why you guys think this song is romantic, I think this is one of the most intense songs ever. I don't think that it's about showing a girl how beautiful she is, I think it's about being heartbroken and just so pissed off at a girl because she dumped you that you want to do something violent.

	I love how hatered can be so fufilling. I belive Chris is saying that someone has poisoned his heart and the only revenge is to kill them. The problem is the poison doesnt subside even in death becuase the ghost of the girl haunts him forever. And he will never forget the lesson he learned. It's kinda like 'How can you forget someone you can't forgive?' ::floating somewhere in between the waking world and a landscape of dreams::

	STD is the best band to listen to whenever a person a girl makes sad happy angry, whatever. Quality emo always except for in Reverie which is a horrible sounding CD.

	i don't think its just about killing this person...i think you have to question why he would want to do it, and how he feels like its ok. maybe he also wants this person to see how beautiful they are, or save them in some way. it sort of seems like some crazy lust to me. the way he wants to drink their blood, and keep a part of them with him.... but yeah, check the posts on the real song

	i love the entire stay what you are cd, but this song always stuck out to me. maybe it's just because of the way the song seems so happy and upbeat, until you start listening to how violent it is. how it's sung so sweetly. but, i've certainlty felt as though they've got the right idea from time to time....

	i can see where the first guys are coming from with the whole obcessive situation, but i agree more with fakelifediary where he just wants to get rid of the memories of this girl. i think that he is trying to kill the bad memories of her, but yet he "drinks her blood" so that he can still carry the good times that they had with him

	i think the first two guys are just creepy...and perhaps a bit obsessive? How would killing someone show them how beautiful they are??(jw) And i also think the same of the song as i do of u guys..this guy was obsessed, symbolically the crucifictionis used to show how much he loves her...like she's some sort of saint or martyr. ok..just my ideas...I do think this song is beautiful but on the other hand obsessive guys creep me out.

	I think when he says "and display you for the neighbors so they know your time had come" he's saying, "look, she broke my heart and if you do that i'll hang you up on a wall too." This song is about the pain she caused him and he wants to hurt her back. He also wants to keep a piece of her inside him to remember her. "And I'd drink your blood and feel it dripping down my throat as it heads for my heart" Maybe to capture her spirit(ghost). I really like this song, like all their songs, it's intense.

	This song has great meaning. When you are mad at someone you can listen to it and it takes the anger out of you. It helps you keep your cool and not lash out at anyone. Its about betrayal I think. about getting someone back that betrayes you.

I read this in an interview in alternative press, "That song isn't about killing somebody, it's about loving someone so much that you would almost kill them just so that they could see they are living a destructive life." I also read in another interview that "It's about loving someone so much that you would almost kill them to get them to see that they are this beautiful thing." -Chris Conley Oh well, either way... it's pure genius.
