| this song is about.. or at least how i took it.. is about a girl whose a big dReamER.. she lives in a cloud.. she can't see who she is.. (or her "reflection") cuz shes lost in a world of magazines and movie stars.. but the life she wants isn't possible.. which makes her more depressed.. and she continues to live in her dream of movie stars and magazines... this song is my best friend to me.. summed up in a song.. and shes the least fake person i know.. just a dreamer... being killed by the ideals of society.. | |

| Yeah, this is a good reality check for those that aren't satisfied w/ what they have. This song is about a girl who tries to be something she's not. I wouldn't say it's about anorexia persay... I mean, maybe it is but there's no way we could know that. | |

| This song reminds me of an awesome book I just finished reading. It's called "I Was a Teenage Fairy" by Francesca Lai Block. It's about these two kids who are forced to be child, then teenage models. i love it when he says "The plastic canopy, of US royalty" | |

| "when August came around, bathing suits on the ground, replaced by a cotton cloak" I think that line means that she was checked into a hospital.. therefore she was wearing a "cotton cloak" | |

| This song is about one girl who is fake. When it says "To see her own reflection was like squinting in the sun" thats what it means, someone who is fake and isnt themself. | |
