Do you know what I love the most?
Even suburbs would be o.k.
With you between my sheets
And the breeze in the window
Cause we will go there and ignore all our neighbors
I think I'll bring you breakfast and play Johnny Cash on the stereo

it's funny that the first dude to comment on this song said that the new CD doesn't sound like "that in reverie shiz," when this song has a very In Reverie feel to it. the new CD definitely does rule, though.

it sounds different because ted is more hXc. he used to play in a hXc band, he listens to hXc now. the song has the slight hXc edge. and the down-to-earth ted feeling on top of that. they really need to figure out that they should play this in concert. so many people want them to and they never do because, well no one knows why. and it sucks.

"I kiss your thighs to make you feel alright, then I will get closer, taste a little sweat" it's about eating out a girl. I guess that's what he loves the most.

yeah, i totally agree w/ 1399... that's how I want things myself. I never wanna get married and I don't want any kids but I do want that relationship. The kind of relationship Ted's talking about in this song.

I read in a Rollingstone article that he wrote this song when he was contemplating suicide after the failure of "In Reverie," and now this song is therapeutic to him. And i thought it was "The dial tone is there but no one is calling..."

"The dial tone is never no ones" should be "The dial tone is there but no one is holding"

this is my std favorite song and also my favorite song in general. ted is wonderful. the bass line is incredible. now on to my interpretation: ok. this song is about loving someone so much that you want to spend the rest of your life with them, keeping in mind that you dont want the whole "settle-down-and-have-2.5-children-and-a-white-picket-fence" thing. you want to be together, but still all over the place (basically ninteen forever).
