| Ironically, I was introduced to STD by a special guy that ended up breaking my heart. He had lent the I'm Sorry I'm Leaving CD to me prior to the breakup and I fell in love w/ the band so I kept the CD. Hold definitely means so much to me and conveys so much in what seems to be a very deceptively simple song. I love the line, "I saw myself touch your face, and notice jets begin to race above our heads." Great imagery because she's gone but he still daydreams/ imagines about her and how he could touch her face just once more and how the situation he's in is way over his head. Great breakup song. | |
