| I dont think this song had anything to do with the crash. Chris always talks about his scars. Besides I think this song was written before the crash...maybe not but for some reason i thought so..well anyways STD is the best forever!!! | |

| eh...i don't think this song is about the crash at all. chris always felt bad because he had tons of acne, in "can't slow down" you could totally tell that he had real low self-esteem because he wasn't "cute." one of his songs even has a line saying "...think up dreams like i am the cutest kid in school..." and he mensiones how his face is so " scarred and bloody, which is because he had scars from his acne. so that's what that part means. as for the song i think its about life, like that one chick said, except for the crash. he said that the crash wasn't exaclty a bad thing, but a totally changed his appriciationn on life. eh...thats just my two cents | |

| Maybe my face will lose these scars, 'cause sometimes they keep me home at night where I duck under the covers and wince when I see the light. uhh this part of the song made my cry the 1st time i heard it b.c i met chris back in novber and he did have tons of scars on his face but chris has a beaitful soul and he is a sweet heart .. he was very kind and we talked for about a 1/2 hour after the show i love chris with or without scars .. i wil marry him sumday :) :) :) :) :) :) hehe | |

| GOOD SONG it's one of my favorites...haha along with half the songs from std... ;) the fact that he wrote it because of a car crash makes sense...the part that says "So I floored it and swerved around the lanes. I kept wishing it were you instead of me behind the wheel..." makes sense because of it... | |

| I think the car crash theory makes a little more sense to me personally... It sounds like maybe he was with somone he loved more than anything... and maybe he lost her in a crash? The line about the memories keeping him home some nights just kills me. I never really thought twice about this song before i read what everyone else thought about it.. I have a whole new respect for this song... Im a die hard saves the day fan. And its nice to kno that there r other people out there who spend all day trying to get a feeling for what bands r trying to say in their songs :) | |
