"My Ribs have parted ways, They said, We're not going to protect this heart you have" That might be the best line of music ive heard in a long time. So Symbolic!

This is a great song in many ways. The lyrics are great, about being so far away from someone you love. Sad but great. And how its still super sweet, because even though he (probabluy chris) is hurting, he still wishes the girl a great time.

It's about missing like hell that person that went away for one reason or another. Waking up every morning wishing they were there. It would be guessing to say whether or not he's being sarcastic about hoping she has a killer time even though he's dying. Think what you want.

i never implied it was sarcasm, i was just stating that the word "killer" conveys a lot of bitterness. he wants her to have fun, but he's worried she'll forget about him, and i think that the use of the word "killer" almost reflects that fear. in some way or another.

an interesting fact: chris penned this song in his psych class at NYU. but i think he's bitter about her being gone and telling her to have a killer time. u know how like when ur girl or guy goes off somewhere and ur stuck at home miserable, and they're off w/ other people having the time of their life, ur home and they call you and ur like 'i hope yuor having fun' but u really man 'i wish u were miserable w/ me?' i dunno, maybe its just me and im jus selfisj, lol

This song is about not getting laid because your girlfriend has been on vacation in Costa Rica for 2 weeks. "You never told me it would be this hard I think my body's saying so." and "I'll be fine by myself I'll be fine without these bones" - these lines say it all.
