	Yea blue emo is right. i dont think he got scars on his face from that crash, theyre definitly acne scars and i dont think its much deeper or symbolic than another song about his self consciousness

	Does anyone else think the whole 'taking pictures' scenerio is refering to Chris before and after the accident? Like the photo was taken to capture him before the scars and he'll always remember the way he felt before them? Maybe it's that he is still the same person before and after the accident, even though his appearance has changed and he wants people to realize that? --Oh i don't know... just my thoughts. I am trying to peice this song together. I'm probably completely misinterpreting it.

	this song is about the car crash that still haunts chris, the scars on his face are a daily reminder of it

	In my opinion this song is refering to 'thee crash'. I almost hate listening to it and smiling because it was written about something so unfortunate, but like TaKeOuRcArSnOw and backupdork say ... its so amazing how this song acutally gives off a happy feeling. I truly respect and admire Chris for everything and this line alone ... "Maybe my face will lose these scars, 'cause sometimes they keep me home at night where I duck under the covers and wince when I see the light."

	i love this song so much...can ya tell?...that makes so much sense about the car crash story...he's so good at putting his pain into songs...it's amazing..really

	i think maybe when he goes "I kept wishing it were you instead of me behind the wheel so maybe with my camera I could steal a shot of you and go home to put it in my room." it means that he wants to remember the person in the car with him as they were. the car crash is a good theory, so maybe the other passenger (the picture taker) died. but, blue emo has a really good point about his acne. this song is amazing, no matter what it means.

	its just so good to see that people love chris's lyrics liek i do.. like this song and everyy song chris uses the most perfect words to capture moods and pictures.. everysong has those few lines where you go wow thats real poetry.. I love Saves the Day but about the song i dont think this song iis about a car crash.. Chris uses metaphors ALOT everthing isnt always the way it seems..
