| I turned to punk/nu wave back in the day to get away from music like this (butt rock) but I actually like a few of Scorpions' songs. Not this one, though! Except the line: Here I am/Rock you like a hurricane--it doesn't rhyme on paper, but it seems to flow like one. It's the way it's sung, methinks. Other than than, it's simply an account of being on the road touring; there's a willing female in every port, LOL, and the singer gets lonely for "love" every night...if the best way he can treat women is "give her inches and feed her well", as a woman who also loves and values men this line is NOT what he'd wish to say to me because he's not after love as we know it--he wants a booty call after the show. :P | |

| i think MetallibangeR is stating the obvious: and should shut up. cmdrnmartin has a much more interesting interpretation; not all rock songs are sleazy trite. but hes wrong mr MetallibangeR is lammentably right; but should shut up anyway | |

| Yeah they are from Germany. I think it's Klaus' strong accent that made him such a unique vocalist. This song was one of the reasons hair metal/arena rock/glam started, but it's still a kick ass song. That main riff and the opening solo are timeless. | |
