| Wow, this is just such an excellent song. I heard it for the first time on the radio. I couldn't believe I'd never been exposed to it. As I got into it more and more I started to ponder it's meaning. It was obviously about reaching better things, or wanting to at least. I just wasn't sure why. "Walking down the street/distant memories/burried in the past forever" seems to suggest a soldier who's still caught up in a war that's over. That's what I think this song means. It's about a soldier. "Who would ever think we could be so close, like brothers" Must have something to do with the soldiers. Who would have guessed that soldiers could become brothers. That's a very common war theme, brotherhood. And the wind of change is about that feeling in the air when something really big is happening, when you witness change. That's war. | |

| What a great song...what's sad is that friends of mine who are freshmen in college have never heard this song, or if they have, are clueless as to what it means. I was young when the Berlin Wall came down, but I remember it vaguely...I have more of an association of it coming down to this song than to memory. What a great song...:) | |

| I think Simonlee is a jackass! How dumb could one possibly be?????? Evidently you have never seen the video! It's definately about the fall of the Berlin Wall/ Iron Curtain. I recently saw the Scorpions in Las Vegas and they were superb! Klaus' voice is almost as good as sex! | |
