| Yeah, there are three different version of the song that I'm aware of, as suspectdevice said, the demo is on the rerelease of their Self Titled, there's the version on Boogada Boogada Boogada, which is the one above that ends in 'We're in love with you' being repeated, and there is also the version off of Kill The Musicians, which is the same as above with the exception of the guys repeating 'Shut up, shut up' until the end of the song. The version off of Kill The Musicians was also featured on the live disc of the Thank You Very Little album. Now on to what I think the song is about... I think that the lyrics of the song are pretty straight forward. They basically say that no matter what people think, we're always gonna do what we want. Why worry about tomorrow when we can live the lives we have right now at this very moment. So what if we're not going anywhere down the road, who really cares if we're happy with what we have. This is one of my favorite songs from Screeching Weasel, and it was the one that sparked my interest into the band. I truly love these guys and the messages they put out through their music. It's too bad that the band broke up for the last time not too long ago. They will be missed, but at least we've got The Riverdales, and Ben's solo stuff. | |
