| I'm a lesbian and sXe... so... I dunno it's probably about being what you are and not what society expects of you and that a real punk wouldn't care they'd just do their thing? | |

| Being scared to admit that you're different, Not standing up to what you are, something along those lines. I also agree with Flex, or it's somewhat the same thing as I said. Eneewaze, I adore the melody, it's so energetically energetic :D | |

| this song is about mainstream people who are so brainwashed by the media that GUYS being gay is uncool no matter what and how they ddiscriminate against ppl by their sexuality even tho its perfectly fine for lesbians. he says "i wanna be a homosexual" because its different and going against the mold. and so he has something else to stand up for "take it up ur punkrock ass" to all the ppl who are homophobic . HOMOPHOBES ARE JUST MAD CUZ THEY CAN'T GET LAID (ps. i am not gay) | |

| Wow guys, quite frankly I'm very impressed here. I haven't seen any flame posts along the lines of "teh screeeaching weaseles guy is a faggot ass holel!!!"!@!@!@" I'm glad, because this is a damn good song which conveys a pretty important message. I think the song is trying to say that you shouldn't discriminate against anyone for their sexuality. I totally agree with soul doubt about the "Take it up your punk rock ass" line. Oh, suspectdevice, I like the version from Kill The Musicians better than from Thank You Very Little, but that doesn't mean I don't like the one from TYVL. | |

| I dont think it has to do with homosexuality as muchas its said i think its just an anthem for people to be diffrent and not always fit in the mold and to scare the hell out of simple minded football players i have palyed this song for lots of people and i always know the people that will freak out and call me gay for liking it its quite enjoyable | |

| This song, while blatently pro-homosexuality, is at it's core not about sexuality at all. It's an anthem to anyone who dares to be anything against the norm. Great song with a strong message. | |
