| I think it about being very deeply inlove with someone, because when you love someone that much they do become an addition and its like a high without the pill, and they just light up your whole life...And then they fuck you over... but yeah thats my interpretation of the song, besides the last part the whole fucking over thing.. that's just my own experience. | |

| I think that "a kiss from a rose" is like kissing something so beautiful but its painful at the same time...like Somebody you love so much but they cause you pain. | |

| Its hard to look one way; feeling ugly and evil all of your life i feel this song is like someone so great and so beautiful falling in love with you and makes you feel like no other experience ever. True love in existence with the ugliness you possess | |

| Sephiroth is correct. This song really relates to me, I loved this girl so much, I see her in my dreams, Im always thinking about her. Im still thinking about her. Well I told her how I felt about her, and right know im feeling nothing but torns. This song is really helping me out on my tuff times right now. Im still trying to get over her, but the love I feel for her is still there and doesnt want to go away. | |

| Im not sure that its about drugs or love or something else. But i alway thought it wa more about love then anything else. I believe that when he says "I compare you to a kiss from a rose on the grey." I believe he doesnt mean the rose as a symbol of a women , but as a comparison to what her touch or "kiss",presence or whatever does to him. Meaning grey as his life..how its colorless and meaningless...and the rose how it stands out since its beautiful and the only color or beauty/love etc in his life. When he says "My power, my pleasure, my pain" wat else is love then that? Love is all that and more and there is also further evidence in the song that its about love. although I didnt write it ...maybe it is drugs. | |

| I think that love goes with pain just like a torns do with a rose.. Something so beautiful but yet has a lil pain to it.. I mean ppl who do Xtreme sports know that they could die but yet still do it.Love is something u feel and once u do u always want it.. it's a surgar u can't get enough of.. but when it's gone.:(.. it hurts like hell.. but we get over it slowly and then we love again. this goes on and on. untill we find the right one.."I've been kissed by a rose" | |

| I'm starting to see the drug connection in this song, but then again, it sounds more like a love song than anything else. 'I compare you to a kiss from a rose on the gray, the more I get of you the stranger it feels, yeah yeah' Someone mentioned that 'kiss from a rose' is a drug term.. 'To me you're like a grown addiction that I can't deny, will you tell me is that healthy baby?' Man, you guys made me think of this song in terms of drugs. Damn you all. | |

| White magic, I am a man of little self-esteem. When I develop feelings for a girl, I can not bring myself to tell her. If I was to be rejected, I would fall into a serious depression, so I'm the kinda guy who would just rather not know. They say, "what you don't know, won't hurt you." I'm a firm believer in this expression. I respect you for having the foritude to make that kind of confrontation. | |

| I think it means that you love someone eternally beautiful, like a rose, but their thorns are causing you pain at the same time. It is definately not about heroin or something. That line "and love became a drug that's the high and not the pill" means that love is giving you a "high" that no pill could ever give you. | |
