Home S Secondhand Serenade Last Song Ever Guitar Tab

Secondhand Serenade consists of one very talented man.
And this song is probably my favorite from him.
It is very easy to do, there's two guitars in it,
but I can't figure the other one out.
And there are two different versions
of the song, so the bridges may sound
different.
If you have any questions my AIM is w00t its Megannn. Enjoy!
Standard Tuning.
(Figure out strumming on your own)

Sorry BeccaxLove, but i think this is from the male perspective. He is singing about, as was earlier mentioned, a fight. He wants her to forget about the fight and not hate him. He dosent know how they will end up. He shows us his reaction: "Heartbeat's slowing Pains are growing Does SHE love you? That worth knowing." He just had a fight, and realizes he was wrong. THat she was everything to him. He has pain because of this. And he is torn because he isnt sure if she still loves him. ("Does she love you?") ... He had a fight with her. He realizes that he was wrong. he is upset about hurting her. He doesnt want her to hate her. He is very upset about the whole thing. He isnt sure is she still loves him. He dosent know how his 'Life', or song, will end. ("I wish my life was this song.")

It is obvious that song is narrorated in a female perspective because of "Does she love you...". I think what this song means is that this girl clearly over reacted and walked out, but realizes its a mistake that she can not repair, so she wants him to stay sweet. "I can't tell how...this last song ends" This means she doesnt know yet if they'll get back together or if he'll be so hurt he cant get over it and will move on. At the end: "Heartbeat's slowing, pains are growing. Does she love you? That's worth knowing. Heartbeat's slowing, pains are growing. Does she love you? That's worth knowing." This means that she finds out that he's with someone new and its like a slap in the face to her and she wonders if the new girl loves him or not and shes feeling really hurt by the whole thing and realizes he's moved on and that's how it ended.

Seems to me the writter is writting this song as his last thing to say to the girl he is in love with. Seems he hurt this girl and he regrets what he did to her he thinks what he did to her may change her but he wants her to stay the same to stay sweet. He believes his pain grows stronger and stronger till she forgives him and he wins her back but deep in down he knows thats it all over so he writes...His last song

To me the song itself represents how he feels towards his girl - how he wishes it could last forever. His actions dont represent how he feels for her and wishes he could change that. Something went wrong and he obviously regrets it. The fact that they ever loved eachother is comfort and this song may end, but another song will start. Its all about having someone that you loved - this may be the last song ever, but its forever recorded and going back and remembering what they had is what counts.

To me this song is about a girl that he loves and they may have had a fight and he said some things he shouldn't. The first verse I love, how you could somehow create this understanding between them, to stop all the pain and frustration, so they understand each others hearts. Wish it were that east >.< But yeah, I love this song, it's beautiful.
