| To me this song is about someone who has tried everything to satisfy someone he cared about very much in his life and she just treated him like shit. and he finally just said fuck it and gave up. now he's reminiscing about what he went through but in a bitter sarcastic way. this song kicks so much ass mostly cause i went through the kind of relationship the singer is singing about so this song has a special place in my heart. | |

| Hi all, I don't know how to correct lyrics, but I can rewrite them here so you all can see them... Yes, abusive parent...Horrible relationship...All right on based on his horrible child hood and relationship with a girlfriend who cheated him, then left him when he was about 16. Then, he had to choose between the gun and the guitar...Thank God he chose the guitar...But, he's still not out of the woods, just read his interviews...
