| This song - and band - is absolutely brilliant! I have been a huge fan from way back when they were still Saron Gas and Shaun Morgan was still only known as Shaun Welgemoed. The lyrics given here aren't quite correct, I think..."...someday I'll sing my last reFRAIN" and "Why don't YOU let me be" The meaning of the song? I get the feeling its about a lost and broken relationship between a parent and his/her child...the child feels that he/she can't live up to the expectations of the parent, but the parent is actually indifferent to the child's feelings and struggle with finding him-/herself! Just have to add that I think the bonus track that is sung in Afrikaans is a cool touch and shows at least that Seether still remember South Africa! | |

| I think Lady X is right on. I love this song and what it means. When he says wrap me up with a bow and flowers, I will neglect to tell. Ill sell your story that we love each other. The couple put on a face in public and looked like the perfect couple. Secretlyl knowing they were unhappy | |

| I also think the song is about a lost or broken relationship. "I Am a perfect sale, just wrap me up with your bow and flowers I will neglect to tell, I’ll sell your story that we love each other" ^These lines are like when people buy each other gifts to show love. Flowers, for instance, neglect to tell all the bad things that have happened. They fake a story that those people really love each other and all is well, when in reality all isn't well. | |

| it could be covering up what's really going on, after a certain experience (not a good one obviously), and knowing that eventually u'll "find ur place, u'll sing ur last refrain" and "know that ur pain will fade." | |

| This song is so damn deppressing....gotta love it. I think thats the proper meaning about the neglect. But to me it means trying to fit up to other peoples standerds and being lost... or it could be about break up | |

| rephrase? huh? why the hell hell would he sing that? of course its reFRAIN, dammit. beside the fact that 'rephrase' would be completely fuckin senseless, you can even hear clearly that he says REFRAIN. its a song, man. he's a musician. duh. | |

| The way his voice goes up when he sings the chorus is absolutely awesome. The best 'nice sounding' song on the album. | |

| ?Huh? When I posted that on the 6th of May the lyrics were wrong, but its been updated since then...and if my eyes don't deceive me, it says my last refrain! It does actually make sense MySelfAffliction Let me throw the question back at you...why would he sing rePHRASE...doesn't make sense! I would think that even an 18-year old would be able to figure that out for himself! It makes sense that he would sing about singing his last refrain, because it a refrain is a line in poetry/music that is repeated at regular intervals! Henceforth it is easy to surmize that he - being a musician - would refer to his death as "...I'll sing my last refrain" Comments? | |
