tuning: half a step and drop d (C# G# C# F# A# D#)
i've seen lots of versions that were close to being right, and
some that were practically right only in the wrong tuning. so
here, in the right
tuning, is the correct version.
*Note: i will just refer to the strings in e a d g b e form, but they
are
still tuned down

| TastySalmon, honestly, have a bit more respect why don't you... hate that term its so...degrading Why do most people have to be so superficial and follow stupid trends like its all that matters... I mean why go for these shallow people if you know shallow isn't really what you're looking for...sure they may be pretty but they're like plastic...are they really worth the effort or sometimes the lack of it... And burn the house ... just lovely! | |

| I would agree with the initial interpretation of this minor masterpiece. It is an original, but it took four guys to think up these rhymes! Jason Mraz had help from at most two people helping him. Another gripe I have is that this tune is in the vein of "she effin hates me and I hate her too". It must be another genre that won't be flamed out anytime soon I guess. One thing that kind of disturbs me about this song is it's really catchy. I like to sing it when the guy wants to burn down her house with gasoline. That makes it a masterwork I guess. | |

| I first downloaded this song off of Kazaa, and got a slightly different version. Its got a slightly poorer production, and a few words are different. I have not been able to find it again. I am guessing I got the Saran Gas version of the song the first time. | |

| Opinion head, excuse me...That just makes me sick...Shaun Morgan wrote those lyrics for your info, go pick up the CD and read it for yourself...And, Gasoline couldn't have been written in the vain of "She Fucking Hates Me" because that song was originally released in 99 while the band was still known as Saran Gas and still living in their home country... On a CD called "Fragile". I own it, and it also says in the liner notes, "Written by Shaun Morgan Welgemode"... His original last name before the band came here, and he changed his last name from Welgemode to Morgan by taking his middle name as his last name so that it would be a Hell of a lot easier for us Americans to pronounce...Lol. Not that most of us couldn't have pulled it off, 'cause we could have, but he's so sweet, he decided to make it easier...To verify my statements, go check out the Seether message board. Type in "Shaun Morgan" and wade through the responses that will come up. And, to verify the other ones, go pick up "Disclaimer or Disclaimer II from your local record store. Or, get Fragile off EBay. I got the double disc with three extra songs, but I haven't seen another one like it anywhere... including on Ebay... Anyway, I'm with you all on this one. It's a cool song that reminds me every day not to be stuck on my looks, or any one elses for that matter... Catch you all later... MaggieMichelle | |

| Hey, I'm a girl, and I don't give a crap if someone talks about boning a girl on her period. It's reality; deal with it. I actually thought the comment was pretty funny. Awesome song, but as someone else pointed out, it's not "wipe her ass", it's "wipe her eyes". | |
