Band:Seether
Song:Given
Album:Karma & Effect (2005)
I’ve had this CD for a while and I finally decided to sit down and tab it out.
It’s a fairly simple song to play; the verse will look hard at first, but once you
figure out a comfortable fingering, it’s easy. Im workin’ on tabbing some more
of Seether’s stuff cuz there ain’t a whole bunch of good tabs from Karma & Effect
on here. Good luck and enjoy!
Tuning: Drop C ( 99% sure; I tried every other tuning and it didn’t sound accurate)
Legend:
\-slide down
/-slide up
p-pull off
h-hammer on
~-vibrato

This is a pretty good song, and the other tab for it didn’t do Seether justice. I might
work on an album tab for Karma & Effect, but I don’t have a lot of time to tab stuff out,
so wait patiently. I might decide against it; there are a lot of good Seether tabs
between MXtabs and UG. They’re not all accurate, but enough to figure it out for
yourself. Oh, if anyone that reads this has the Karma & Effect music book, or a 12
Stones music book, e-mail me, I’d like to know how accurate I am. If you have questions
or comments, e-mail me.

| I'm with Poo Spoon on this one. I think it's mostly about how difficult women can be when it comes to relation ships and trying to understand them. | |

| Trust all the things I tell you are true Dress up in your best So I can be proud of you And never believe I won't turn on you And never believe I do this for you... ^seems like its a buddy to buddy sort of thing. much like he has complete trust in his pal. verse 2 makes it seem as though he sees who his pal really is. not who he thought but someone pretending.... and "reeling in awe for sure" he cant believe what hes seeing. the end from "now i know." to the last sentence seems as though he sees what was given to him. something that some people will never find. ture trust. but though he lost it he got it. and some will never. much like a talent. verse 3. self explanatory....revenge? | |

| this song reminds me of a parent trying to live through their child. the parent regrets what they have done to their child, and it wasnt their fault. they cant change who they are. the chorus given to me, seems like know they know they had the opportunity to do what their child did but didnt do it. | |

| I thought it was about virginity, attempted rape and then finding out it as voluntary all along. "Never believe I do this for me. And never believe I'll do this gently." Virginity anyone? "You're leading me on again. And I find it, yeah I like it." That's the attempted rape. "I'm reeling in awe for sure, now I know it was given to me..." the rapist finding out she wanted him to anyway. | |

| Actually easy to relate with, It's about making someone trust everything you say it tru, Then they turn out to be false and untrue to the things they have said, So in the end you wan revenge, But all along you never did it for them, You did t for yourself, I could be wrong. ^_^ | |
