| That line is refferring to the temporary fame gained from death, when a famous person dies, everyone cares, everyone is infatuated with him, but eventually it dies "in a blink of the eye" The whole song is about the futility of life, and the quest for fame, writing sad songs and cliche poems in the name of fame when in the end he'll just die and have his five minutes of fame. He'll never be the man he dreams of being, no matter how much he wants it. | |

| totally like wat 'something_vague' had to say.. about not being an mtv bitch.. b/c it's so lame how bands turn into sellouts by going mainstream and like all these fags are like wow senses fail is mean.. i'm punk b/c i listen to them.. fuck that but this song's mean as balls prob. the hardest on the cd the main.. 'scream' song they went a lil emo on this but owell.. it's about wat every1 said mainly just wanting to be famous but not selling out like ever other band does.. | |

| "I wanna die like God on the cover of Time" On April 8, 1966 Time magazine's cover asked "Is God Dead ?" P.S. Report abuse and spam comments about how "awesome" songs are. Show some reverence for the purpose of this site. Its for "meanings" and information and anything else relative. | |

| Holy Crap! Buddy screams his bloody ass off in this song. And it's awesome! Yeah, this song is without a doubt about the fleeting glory of fame. I think he may be making a statement about people who really get fame without deserving it. Or possibly he's just singing about what every rock star does to get fame (Drugs, clichés, and whatnot). I think he's saying "I'll get fame in a different way, and I really want to be there even if it won't last". | |

| What I want to know is, what the hell kind of person wants to die like Jim Morrison? Do any of you actually know how Jim Morrison died? He choked on his own vomit in a bath tub. I personally find this a horrible excuse to use pop culture references. No matter what Senses Fail write about, they'll never be as big as Jim Morrison. Metaphorically, or literally. | |
