| Actually... I met the band when they came through Omaha, and actually became friends with their touring keyboardist, Robbie Gennet... and asked Jason what they were trying to convey, and as with every artists, he wants people to take what they will or want from his songs... but it's actually a literal interpertation... the word's mean what they say... | |

| This is in my opinion a really good song. The lyrics themselves are creepy though. Like some sort of cry for help..a message of a sort. I would like to know what it really means.... | |

| the accual meaning of the song is about the lead singer and his irlfreind were at the place called the waters edge "dont remeber the exsact location" but they were having a picknick when the lead singer left to go to get something fomr his truck and he came back to find his girlfreind being attacked to he hid in a bush and witnessed his girlfreind get raped and murdered. then he was the police's primary suspect for the rape and murder so he was aressted. and then the people who accualy killed here found out he wittnessed the whole thing so if he told on them they who kill them so he ended up going to jail for a few years but eventually a person came out and gave out the names of the real rapests and murders and they got sent to jail so he became free. that why he says he wont go down to the waters edge and "he got his freinds in familier places' wich is refering to the people who really killed her. THIS IS A TRUE STORY. | |

| American Standard is a brand of toilets with a reputation for high flush capacity and low water usage. "American Standard" is an album by Seven Mary 3 that contains two good songs. They are "Cumbersome" and "Water's Edge". Don't call me an idiot. You don't even know what CINC means. | |

| This song is about a guy who is warned to not go down by the river or w/e and he does it anyways, and he sees a dead body...he feels guilty b/c he saw it happen, and he saw who did it but didnt do anything about it...the line "They did it once, They can do it again"....i think it means that theyve already killed, theyre not afraid to do it again, so he should keep quiet..And the line.."The Van pulled up and opened the door (took all my love)..he saw them kidnap the person (maybe the woman he loves?) What does everyone esle think? | |
