| I know the song was written for Lynn Strait, but i want to share my personal connection. This song gives me goose bumps every time i hear it.. I feel like I was intended to hear this song... I am an angel's son... My mom died when i was 8 years old of cancer. She was in a lot of pain for 4 years, and fought every day to go on... I never got to say goodbye... and i wish i could have because i would have told her that even though i didnt always show it, i loved her... so i feel like this song is all about me... I am an angel's son... | |

| Ah, they also dedicated this song to one of the band member's brothers who recently died...The lead singer's brother, I believe. It was originally for Lynn Strait, but they played it again as a tribute to the brother at one of their concerts just after finding out he died. I love this song so much, it's awesome. | |

| This song is about James Lynn Strait of the band Snot. It was written for a compilation cd with a bunch of artists shortly after Lynns death. The song is about Him and how he left us when he died. He died in a car accident...Other cd this song is on is Strait Up... It's a great heavy metal cd so all u heavy metal fans should pick it up.. | |

| Maybe he had a problem that wasn't too widely known. Didn't they have most of the music written but he was on his way to record/write lyrics when he died? I heard most of the songs had the original music on the straight up cd. | |
