Angel's Son Acoustic Version

I'm pretty sure this is right, it sounds perfect to me.

This is about the best live song ever when everyone gets to singing it. Runs chills up my whole body.

This song reminds me of my grandmother that died 10 years ago. She was my best friend, and I never got to say goodbye to her the night she passed away. I knew right away this song meant something special to me, but it took a while to catch what exactly it was. When I finally realized it was about her to me, I started crying. It has helped me a lot with finally accepting her death, too. I was also a big fan of Snot, and saw them as a next Nirvana, they could have started big things. Thank you to Clint Lowery & Lajon Witherspoon of Sevendust for writing this song, it helped me through a tough time. And R.I.P. to my Grandmother and Lynn Strait, you are both loved and missed dearly.

i knew it was written in memory of someone, and i thought it was the lead singer of straight up, but i heard the song Starlit eyes by SOAD and Straight up and at the beginning he says "do i have to get naked people for you to remember my name? its lynn, from snot." and i had no i dea he died and had a song written for him, thats weird. either way this is a great song and so is starlit eyes. later - justin

Hey I am sorry Dreden that is really sad. I was blessed enough to have seen snot a few times and I got to talk to him a few times. He was really really great. this song still makes me cry. I get gooes bumps. I hope to see Sevendust play this song soon. I missed them last few times they came because of my nazi boss. This song is great and to any one who has lost a close one stay strong..
