| This song reminds me of my grandmother that died 10 years ago. She was my best friend, and I never got to say goodbye to her the night she passed away. I knew right away this song meant something special to me, but it took a while to catch what exactly it was. When I finally realized it was about her to me, I started crying. It has helped me a lot with finally accepting her death, too. I was also a big fan of Snot, and saw them as a next Nirvana, they could have started big things. Thank you to Clint Lowery & Lajon Witherspoon of Sevendust for writing this song, it helped me through a tough time. And R.I.P. to my Grandmother and Lynn Strait, you are both loved and missed dearly. | |

| i knew it was written in memory of someone, and i thought it was the lead singer of straight up, but i heard the song Starlit eyes by SOAD and Straight up and at the beginning he says "do i have to get naked people for you to remember my name? its lynn, from snot." and i had no i dea he died and had a song written for him, thats weird. either way this is a great song and so is starlit eyes. later - justin | |
