I also agree that this is one of Sevendust's best songs on the Animosity album, I think you have a point with what you pointed out...but I think it can apply to more of a general note...I think in a certain way, the idea behind the lyrics of this song can be linked to "stinkfist" by tool on their "Aenima" album...basically, you need something real, something new...you need to feel real...the only difference in this one, Lajon is saying that he needs something "beautiful"....something to catch his eyes, the entire world looks bland, boring...tasteless...he needs that one entitiy with color to come back to him...so he can know that he's still alive...Maynard is saying he need something more intense every time to feel alive...

can't belive no-one has commented on this song yet, its one of their best off Animosity. I think it's about someone (the band) feeling so much pressure to keep going and keep making good music with no stopping. I think this is a reference to their earlier days when they had shitty managment, and it is about needing to take a break so they can 'feel real again'. i dunno thats just my interpretation
