| Man. I just found this group the other day, download the song, and realized that it hits really close to home. Here's the deal: This guy is totally in love with this girl. They've either been casually dating or just friends, and one night, he wants to go see her. Yet, this other guy was with her. She'd found someone else, and was falling for the new guy. Kind of like having a big damn rock fly right out of the sky and hit you (or a satellite from space). Yet, instead of being an ass like most guys, he simply stays by her side, being a good friend and a good guy. I'd like to hope that after the flight in space, she comes back down to Earth for him. But, that's wishful thinking... | |

| That meaning makes sense, but the only line that doesn't work is "Take a look around - I'm counting down" which makes me think he's beginning to run out of patience, but maybe he feels compelled to stay? They're a great band you should download (or buy) more! | |
