| in reference to the meaning of 'crushing belial', i think it may have to do with the character of belial from Milton's Paradise Lost... "Belial - One of the principal devils in Hell. Belial is an embodiment of sloth and inactivity. His eloquence and learning is great, and he is able to persuade many with his faulty reasoning." So from what i gather the song is about choosing between good and evil as the demons/angels do in Paradise Lost... "Concealed from his light. Abandon all that unifies.
