| This song has a couple of meanings or atleast that's what i think. Though it has one meaning which seems to be the correct one. I think in this song she sings about us "humanity" and about how we have forgotten all about God and how corrupted we have become. if you haven't heard this song by reading it you may think she sings it in a bad mood but on the contrary she sings beautiful one of her best songs actually. | |

| It is a religious song. She talks about God, and how he comes back on the eighth day (the octavo dia ;) ) and he sees that his world that he created has been destroyed by the humans he created. And then she talks about the media, moving people around like 'chess pieces'. On the Live and Off the Record DVD, the performance of this song is accompanied by a overhead projector with George Bush and Hussein playing chess. So yeah, it is about the media and politics in a way but it's mostly about religion. | |

| I dont really like seeing this as a 'religious' song but its more like she's trying to convey how our lives are being run by politics and the media alone. That we arent staying true to ourselves. I agree with Tracy though, its something hard to explain. | |
