Shellac is a minimalist post-punk noise rock band featuring Steve Albini (guitar/vocals), Bob Weston (bass/vocals) and Todd Trainer (drums). The group was formed in 1992 or 1993 in Evanston, Illinois, and is sometimes also grouped under the math rock genre.
