Im not 100% bout the last solo but you can jus improv it. The beggining of this song is
to play so i hope you enjoy that:)
(Lyrics)
To be common place would be unique,
but we're so obscure we're incoherent,
like toungeless vigilantes choking
just to make you choke. Rattling, rattling.
No nails to hold ideas in place,
no expression on your face.
Music and her patrons are dead and
irrelevant, like osteoporosis, she is
brittle. She is broken.
Static comes through synthesizers, megaphones
and drum machines.
Beauty sounds like smashed guitars, and several
references to feedback. Rattling, rattling.
No surgery to save your life.
No promise that everything's all right.
Music and her patrons are dead and
irrelevant, like osteoporosis, she is
brittle. She is broken.
Languages must be organic,
because like flies they fall and die.
Music now sleeps.
Languages must be organic,
because like flies they fall and die.
Music now sleeps,
with Latin and Aramaic.
It's over, it's over.
No more waiting for something to live for.
It's over, it's over.
Everything is dying and we want something more.

I thought perhaps this song was talking about how terrible music has become, or better yet, how the true purpose has been perverted. Although maybe I'm wrong. It could indeed tie back to Sylvia Plath. I suppose either way the song is very well written and very well performed. Sincerely Yours, Age of Reptiles and may Raw Rock kill you forever and ever, amen.

this song is so raw. its like showbread all that showbread is about wrapped up in one song. notice how the CD begins with Tae calling Josh and it ends with a busy signal. so sweet. and yeah i think this song is about how they feel music has become copies of copies and whatnot.

I do believe that this song has ties to the novel by Sylvia Plath. One of their frontmen,Josh, likes Sylvia Plath. So it would make sense. And if im not mistaken her novel is about a woman who more or less cracks up? The song and the book seem to have ties.

I wonder if this song has anything to do with the brilliant novel by Sylvia Plath?
