Artist: Simple Plan
Song: Me Against the World
Album: Still Not Getting Any...
Tuning: Drop D (EBGDAD)

*I fixed this tab so that it is easier to read*

*in the intro, guitar 1 and 2 are written for timing. In other words, the guitar one
starts after guitar 2 plays the |12/1-1|. If you're having trouble, listen to the song
for the timing.*
*BTW, there are no ghost notes in this tab, the (x8) mean play note(s) 8 times. Most of
you will probably know this, just making sure there's no confusion.
*The words under some riffs indicate the lyrics at that point.
*This looks really complicated, but it's not too hard.

Intro(one person can play both guitar parts if needed, since they're not simultaneous,
it's just easier to play on 2 guitars):

i think that tis song it about how parents are always trying to control you. They try to tell you that you have to be like this and this is what they are telling you to do but you dont want to you want to be you! (They're takin' our dreams and they tear them apart 'till everyone's the same) adn then when they are sick and tired of there parents telling them what they have to do they have no place to go (I've go no place to go I've got no place to run They'd love to watch me fall They think they know it all) but hten we show them wrong. We aren't going to be like they want up to be. We are ourself and we are going to be what we want to be! ( But I'll make it on my own It's me against the world)

It's about people making fun of them for who they are. They're trying to fight off all of the outside forces coming against him. He wants to prove to them that he is good on his own and that he's fine the way he is. By the way this song is pretty cool. Not as good as Welcome to My Life, but almost as good.

I'm gonna prove them wrong "They'll never bring us down We'll never fall in line I'll make it on my own Me against the world" I love that. This song is pretty good. The lyrics just make me feel so confident with who I am. I do feel it's me against the world.
