| To me it sounds like people with SI could really relate to this song, anyone who cuts would be able to listen to this song and relate... And I can’t stand the pain And I can’t make it go away No I can’t stand the pain he cant stand the pain of the cuts but he cant stop, cause wants you've started its to hard to stop...even though you really want to How could this happen to me I made my mistakes I’ve got no where to run The night goes on As I’m fading away I’m sick of this life I just wanna scream How could this happen to me How could someone who use to be so happy be so sad now, he cant remember life when he was happy, he is tired of living, so he resorts to cutting and watches himself fade away... Everybody’s screaming I try to make a sound but no one hears me I’m slipping off the edge I’m hanging by a thread I wanna start this over again He tries to tell people what he does but he cant come out and tell people without being judged by everyone, which will in the long run cause him more pain, every night he is on the edge of giving up on life but he is only hanging on by a little bit (SI). He wishes he could start over again so he resorts to thinking of his childhood when he was happy, but he knows that he cant be happy because he has made to many mistakes | |

| this is definently an emotional song its kinda about someone who is looking at their life in perspective and how unhappy they are with everything they may have done, said etc. its about someone who wishes they could make everything better and just start everything over again. at the beginning i think its saying that the person is probably dying in some way and they are looking back at an unhappy life and wishing they could redo everything. i dont know it might have a suicidal undertone but i dont think theyd do that | |
