| I agree with shadynut - i mean my dad is the same way, "get straight a's - be on varsity, do this do that everything" has to be perfect....im sorry..but im not..i mean i play guitar, and the drums, i dont try to be like everyone else and he hates it, these guys are amazing when it comes to this song, and all a theres in fact, but this one really hits home for me, makes me think, its awesome | |

| Instead of having it to do with a dad, think of it to be about the girl you love. How you want to impress her, how you care for her, how much you love her. "I'm sorry I can't be perfect". It's like how you love her so much you'd do anything for her. You want to be the right person for her, you want to be..perfect. That's what I get from this song.
