| I agree with "Breathe Me" this is a great song. I believe this song is either about a young woman who has either been a cutter or has attempted suicide. Her parents don't understand the pain she is going through, and are in denial that anything is really wrong. Maybe they really don't take her serious. But there is Someone who knows her more than anyone. I believe the friend is Jesus. He is there getting her through the hard, dark, painful hours. I've been there and know that Jesus can be there for you when you feel like giving up. He's the only One who will stick with you through the dark night. It is a great song. | |

| Wow FlyleafFan, that is amazing when he said about who you think it might be Korey. I'm a huge Skillet fan (a pan head :P) Anyway, I think it's about both cutting and suicide. She has been cutting herself and she's tired and trapped and doesn't want to cry, she wants to pretend that everything is alright, even with God. But both she and God know it's a lie, which is why they both sing that part. God knows her better than her parents, so he sing the first part of the second verse, and she talks about how she's sick of having her feelings brushed aside. Anyway, the suicide explanation makes the most sense for the part that says "I won't let you say good-bye, and I LL BE YOUR REASON WHY." | |

| This song (as not only have I read above, but also because it was the last song at their lewiston concert and John told our youth) has the meaning that (because he is "too much of a panzy to cut myself") he is playing as Christ and Korey is playing a suicidal female. It was awesome in concert because he threw his bass over his shoulder ROCK ON!!! | |

| I heard this band for the first time last night opening for Flyleaf. They were amazing! Anyway, before they played this song he was talking about it. I don't remember all of what he said but I remember he was saying that like it's about a girl who was in a lot of pain and thought about killing herself. He also said that she would cut herself with a razor and didn't see any point in life but found her faith back in God and it saved her. Then I remember he said this word for word "and that girl is on stage with us tonight." I did some research and I'm almost posative he's talking about Korey. Woo that really hit me hard when he said that. Especially when he was saying how she would cut herself. I was like wow. That sounds like my story. I used to cut myself and wasn't seeing any point in life at one point (more like a 2 year point.) Then when I started listening to Flyleaf, and hearing about Lacey's story. I started trusting in God again, and now I'm recovered. I just love bands like this, whith something good and hopeful to say. anyway just felt like sharing. If you read this whole thing, that u haha :) | |

| ya, but this song eminds me that those family probelms can still be there, even when your friends arent. this song is about all those past memories that you have with your freinds that make you smile, but now they are gone. this song is written in a happy tone though which is another reason i like it. | I love this song and i just learned about it about 1 hour ago and i have listened to it about 25 times I heard it from a friend of mine who is really quite and has had alot of family problems and is affraid of commitment. Im the one person he really opens up to and i do have feeling for him as more then a friend and it seems he does to but he wont say it or anything. When i first heard this song i thought of him and i saw me saying that id never leave him and am always there for him.. so this song is a person who is lost finding someone to help them and finding that person who will never leave them... in other words everything above | |

| i love this song. I mean, think about it...all of you Pan Heads..this song has a ton of meaning to it. Not poetry, but pure meaning. It tells the story of a girl trying to hide from God, because she's so torn on the inside. What makes me sad about it, is that why didn't someone notice and get that girl some help? I know someone that cuts themselves, and I just want to go hug them. I know that they don't want that help or comfort though, so it's really hard. I don't know why people think that cutting themselves is okay, it's not. All they have to do is turn to God for all of their worries, not hurting themselves to make themselves feel better. They need to say the prayer "Lord, let whatever I do today glorify you in every way. Let me make you proud". Then, God will help them be better. They won't have to hurt themselves. GOD DOES NOT WANT YOU TO HURT YOURSELF. HE WANTS YOU TO MAKE HIM PROUD, HURTING YOURSELF DOESN'T MAKE HIM PROUD. HE WANTS TO SEE YOU HAPPY! | |
