| well....i can assume it pertains to a drug-user/junky/homeless person.....who thinks he's screwed over from the world... I hate lyrics like this......slayer lyrics were so much better when they did the doom/hell/violence stuff. | |

| Hmm... I don't care much for the meanings of this song. In fact, I think it's the worst on the album, but still, for Slayer, it is amazing haha. | |

| i would say this one is about a someone cristicizing the life of a drug addict, he sees that the addict is on the verge of suicide, and takes pleasure in the fact that the addict is destroying himself and is just waiting for the day that he dies so that it will be one less black mark on the human race | |

| I think the whole "God Hates Us All" album shows how Slayer has matured and evolved. I'm sure they don't want to be remembered just as the guys who wrote songs about The Holocaust and Satan. God Hates Us All can be summed up in one word: disillusionment. | |

| Seems to me that this person that the lyrics talk about thinks that God will help him and free him from misery, but obviously, that won't happen. | |

| I too think this album is a great evolvement of slayer. The lyrics have remained as dark as they were before but now they can be applied to everyday life, which possibly makes them even stronger. ixequilibriustum i dont see how you can critisise the new lyrics and style. I think Slayer have thoroughly been through the lyrics of hell and satan, this could have led to this album being uncreative and overdone. This did not happen and resulted in a great orignal album. If you want a sell out band with uninspiring lyrics then stick to Metallica, but dont be so ridiculous as to make a stupid, unjustified comment on a slayer forum. | |
