I think this is pretty Anti war. They soldiers have no choice but to kill themselves for their country. So yes I believe it's Anti War.

so is the line "A Childs Toy Sudden Death" a referance to "full metal jacket" where the teddybear blows up? for me, this is most definatly an anti war song. like they said about angel of death: "we shouldn't have to tell people it's bad" Slayer trust that their audiance can think for themselves, they dont tell you what to think about war. I don't see any of the things described in the song as positive, hence making it an anti war song.

ixequilibriustum get your brain fixed it's an anti war song, if you don't see that you must have very poor english skills. lot's of their new songs on Christ Illusion are clearly VERY anti-war

These lyrics explain what will most likely happen to you if you went to war. Would you want to go to war going by these lyrics? No? There you go, anti-war. By the way, look at how many people have snapped for no reason at people here. No wonder people are calling it pro-war. If you would go to certain death by your own choice, then sure, it's pro-war. But, however, then it wouldn't be mandatory... use your brains.

I thinks is obvious that Slayer is neither pro war, nor anti-war. If it was pro-war they would be glorifying men who faught in war like it something to be proud of. They seem to be rather nuetral, because they aren't criticizing anything (spelling?). If you want an ANTI war song check out "Disposable Heroes" by Metallica And this song is not about WW2 at all. It's about a marine in Vietnam (don't you guys go to Slayer shows? Tom says it before they even play the song on what it's about). Besides look at the lyrics, it gives more clues to Vietnam combat than WW2 combat. Like "ambushed" "spikes impale" and the whole mine thing. Mines weren't a problem to WW2 infantry, and generally neither were snipers
